Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully. By requesting a reservation you agree to the policies below. Last updated June 2026.
1. Booking & Reservations
All bookings begin as a reservation request. A reservation is not confirmed until our team reviews availability and sends written confirmation. Submitting a request does not guarantee a date, time, or specific distilleries. Your dedicated Experience Coordinator will work with you to finalize an enjoyable itinerary for your group.
2. Itinerary & Distillery Stops
Selected distillery stops, tastings, and experiences are requested on your behalf and are NOT GUARANTEED. Distillery availability, seasonal hours, private events, race-track and horse-farm seasons, and third-party scheduling may require substitutions of comparable value. We will always aim to match the spirit and quality of your requested day.
3. Pricing, Taxes & Fees
Quoted prices are estimates based on your group size, selected experience, and add-ons. Your subtotal is shown before taxes and fees. A 6% Kentucky transportation tax and a 4% card processing fee are applied at payment. Prices are subject to change until your reservation is confirmed in writing. Pickup times are subject to change based on your customized experience.
4. Payment
Most reservations begin as a request. Submitting a request does not confirm your reservation and no payment is taken. Once we confirm distillery and transportation availability, we will email a secure Square payment link. Your reservation is confirmed only when full payment is received. Select pre-confirmed dates may be reserved instantly online, with full payment at checkout and immediate confirmation. If we cannot accommodate a request, you will not be charged.
5. Cancellations & Changes
More than 30 days before your experience: 75% refund. 15–30 days before: a full-value 12-month voucher. Within 14 days, or no-shows: non-refundable. Group-size reductions inside 14 days may not reduce your total, as vehicles and reservations are pre-arranged. Weather or safety-related changes will be handled case by case.
6. Guests, Age & Alcohol Policy
Bourbon tastings and cigar experiences are for guests 21 and older; valid government-issued photo ID is required at every distillery. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any guest who is visibly intoxicated or disruptive, without refund. Please drink responsibly, that is the entire point of hiring us to drive.
7. Transportation & Amenities
Private transportation is included with every experience and scales with your group size (Luxury SUV, Executive Van, or 14-Passenger Van), with an optional Mercedes Sprinter upgrade. Every vehicle is stocked with lunch, snacks, a cooler of cold drinks, and our Bourbon Rescue Kit. Vehicles are non-smoking; cigar experiences take place at designated stops.
8. Conduct & Liability
Guests are responsible for their own conduct and for any damage to vehicles or venues. Sipping in the South, its guides, and its partners are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage except where caused by our proven negligence. By booking, you acknowledge the inherent risks of travel and consuming alcohol.
9. Photography & Privacy
We may capture photos or video during experiences for marketing use. Let your coordinator know in advance if you prefer not to be included. Your personal information is used only to plan and deliver your experience and is never sold.
10. Travel Agents
Travel agents booking on behalf of a client may add a 10% commission to the reservation total at checkout. Agents are responsible for their client relationship, disclosures, and final payment arrangements.
